Laila’s Gift Announces the 2025 We C.A.R.E. Conference™
A Free Gathering for Caregivers, Advocates, Resources, and Education in Maryland
Annapolis, MD – November 19, 2025 – Laila’s Gift is proud to host the We C.A.R.E. Conference™ 2025, a free, full-day event dedicated to Caregivers, Advocates, Resources, and Education.
The name “C.A.R.E.” reflects the very heart of the conference: uplifting caregivers,
empowering advocates, connecting people with resources, and providing education that strengthens support systems across Maryland.
This inspiring gathering will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Maryland Hall (801 Chase Street, Annapolis, MD) and is open to caregivers, families, community organizations, and anyone passionate about building a stronger, more inclusive caregiver community.
The We C.A.R.E. Conference™ is more than an event—it’s a movement to uplift, empower, and connect.
Attendees will experience:
- Breakfast & Networking (8:30 AM – 9:30 AM): Start the day with connection and conversation.
- Opening Session (9:30 AM – 11:30 AM): Learn about Laila’s Gift’s mission and vision, plus a first look at proposed caregiver support legislation for the 2026 Maryland General Assembly Session
- Lunch & Connection (11:30 AM – 12:30 PM): Break for lunch while meeting others who share a passion for advocacy and care.
- Main Theater Program & Resource Fair (12:30 PM – 4:30 PM): Hear from keynote speakers including keynote by Kaelynn Partlow, known for her role in Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum. Diagnosed with autism at age 10, Kaelynn has become a national voice for meaningful inclusion and advocacy. Her keynote will be streamed virtually to include participants nationwide.
- Networking Hour in the Art Gallery (4:30 PM – 5:30 PM): Close the day with light refreshments and meaningful conversations.
“Our goal is simple but powerful,” said Shari Bailey, Founder of Laila’s Gift, and mom of Laila. “We want every caregiver to walk away with not just resources, but a renewed sense of strength, connection, and community.”
The conference is completely free for attendees, thanks to the support of sponsors and community partners.
Call to Action: Caregivers, advocates, educators, service providers, and community members are encouraged to register today and be part of this transformative event. Together, we can strengthen the support systems that uplift families and individuals across Maryland.
