Join the Waterloo Writer’s Workshop series to hear from local authors about their writing process, discuss writing workshop books, and share your own work with fellow writers. See below for details on each session.Wednesday, February 11: Bird by Bird: Book Discussion
Join us for a discussion of Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott, focusing on how it can inspire and guide creative writers—come prepared with thoughts or questions! Copies are available at the first-floor Circulation Desk. Material for the next critique workshop is due by this session; you may email digital copies to [email protected] or leave a paper copy at the Reference Desk. All submissions must be typed and under 10 pages or 2,000 words.
Wednesday, February 25: Critique Workshop
It's time to discuss our writing as a group! We invite participants to bring annotated print copies of each other's work to share. Copies of the workshop packets can be received by emailing [email protected] or stopping at the first floor Circulation Desk.
