With a lionhearted vocal blend, both roaring with passion and tender to the touch, the husband-and-wife duo The War and Treaty has emerged as one of the most electrifying new acts in American music. Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter have captured three Americana Music Association awards and more recently, two Grammy Award nominations for Best New Artist and Best American Roots Song, “Blank Page.” The dynamic couple also received nominations for Duo of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Awards and Vocal Duo of the Year by the Country Music Association Awards. Featured collaborators on Zach Bryan’s 2023 hit “Hey Driver,” they were revered in Nashville’s The Tennessean for being “Unlike any other act in music.”
