Join Charleston Parks Conservancy and Julie Kaminski with The Walking Book Club® for an exciting opportunity that combines the joy of reading with the benefits of movement and the importance of community! Over a 4-week period, participants are encouraged to listen to the selected audiobook for this month, Piglet, while walking, running, or gardening in the parks at their own convenience.
At the end of the listening period and partnership with the Charleston Literary Festival, we are excited to host “Feasting on Books”, a group effort to come together as a community to embrace and expand conservation! On Saturday evening, readers from across the Lowcountry will throw book-focused dinner parties to introduce the Charleston Literary Festival through a mutual love of great books, delicious food, and fascinating conversation.
