Hey Westies! It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? The dance floor’s been way too quiet without you, and we’re thrilled to say—West Coast Wednesdays is back, starting January 8th!We’re kicking off 2025 with none other than All-Star dancer and instructor Harrison Ramsey! Whether you’re just getting started or refining your moves for the new year, Harrison’s got the tips and tricks to level up your swing game.
And what’s a night of dancing without a killer soundtrack? Don Schanaberger will be at the helm, spinning tracks that’ll have you grooving all night long.
Let's start 2025 off right: with community, great music, and endless dancing. Mark your calendar, dust off your dancing shoes, and we'll catch you on the dance floor!
7:45 - The Newcomer Mixer
New to WCW? New to dancing? Have questions? We have a newcomer mixer right after the beginner lesson. This is where you can ask questions, review what you learned and meet veteran and new fellow dancers just like you! This week’s mixer will be hosted by some of our more experienced dance family members.
For the evening:
- Doors open at 6:45 PM;
- Harrison will teach the beginner- and intermediate-level lessons;
- Don will be the guest DJ;
- The novice-level lesson starts at 7:00 PM; the intermediate-level lesson starts at 7:45 PM;
- The newcomer mixer goes from 7:45-8:30 PM;
- Open dancing will run from 8:30 - 11:00 PM.
