Ammolite Opera presents The Voice of a Tenor, an intimate recital featuring JUNO Award-Winning Tenor Remigio Pereira and Ammolite’s Founding Music Director, conductor and pianist Maria Fuller.
Pereira’s career is built on a massive global scale. As a co-founder and creative force behind The Tenors, he has delivered commanding performances at Windsor Castle, appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and shared stages with Céline Dion, Sir Paul McCartney, Andrea Bocelli, and Sting, to name a few. But for these two nights in Calgary, the grand stages are stripped away. What’s left is raw vocal power and "real opera chops" up close.
At the piano is Ammolite Opera Music Director Maria Fuller. Hailed as a musical polymath who "radiates energy" (Ruch Muzyczny), Fuller brings the precision of an international conductor and prolific composer.
Together, they will weave a deliberate tapestry of classic Italian songs, operatic arias, spirituals, and pop hits.
