The Visual Diary – Drawing the Everyday - SOLD OUT
Use your passions, quirks and idiosyncrasies to draw on. Play with a visual diary to create a unique work of art that reflects who you are, what you love (or don't), and all the beauty and challenges of life around you.
We will look at contemporary artists like Squeak Carnwath, Marise Maas and Hope Olsen, to make experimental work that reflects your personal world. Emphasis is on drawing techniques.
Melissa Davidson's Sweet Plum Studio is within Balance in Nelson's Buxton Square.
Melissa has a B.Art & Media in Visual Art (NMIT), PG Dip. Art & Design (AUT) and a Grad. Cert. in Event Management (SIT). She has worked as an art therapy assistant at Te Whatu Ora, and an arts event facilitator, as well as exhibiting regularly.
