The Village Gathers: Centering Community Wisdom in Violence Prevention

We are excited to share that the Black Health Research Lab at the University of Maryland will be hosting our inaugural community convening, “The Village Gathers: Centering Community Wisdom in Violence Prevention,” on March 28 from 10:00AM–4:00PM at the UMD School of Public Health.

This gathering is designed to create an intergenerational space where families, youth, community leaders, and organizations can come together to share lived experiences, elevate community wisdom, and collaboratively strategize solutions to violence prevention and healing.
