Our mountain community is honored to welcome the Vietnam Traveling Wall to Big Bear Valley.
This powerful memorial is a 3/5-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., displaying the names of more than 58,000 American service members who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War. It provides veterans, families, friends, and visitors with an opportunity to honor, remember, reflect, and heal.
Whether you served, lost a loved one, know someone whose name is on the Wall, or simply wish to pay your respects, we invite you to experience this moving tribute.
This event is free and open to the public. Throughout the weekend, visitors are encouraged to spend time at the memorial, attend scheduled ceremonies, and learn about the sacrifices made by those who served our nation.
