School of Business Bio:

The University of Leicester School of Business is a vibrant, international and interdisciplinary School with a long and distinguished history. The Department of Commerce opened in 1924 with the first economics degrees awarded in 1936 before a Department of Economics was formed in 1958. Specialist management education was introduced in 1989 through an entrepreneurial unit within the department, known as the Management Centre, with this being granted department status in 1996. Fast forward 19 years, and the two departments came together once again to become the University of Leicester School of Business, fostering innovation and knowledge exchange in teaching and research, increasing its academic portfolio and deepen external partnerships with organisations and businesses, locally, nationally and internationally. Our new campus, Brookfield formally opened in 2022, under the Deanship of Professor Dan Ladley, and is located in the historic Stoneygate Conservation Area in Leicester. Undergoing a £16 million redevelopment Brookfield provides nearly 4,000 students with state-of-the-art learning and teaching facilities.

She’s also a Motivational Speaker, a Reiki Master Practitioner, a Freelance Radio Presenter, Author and Poet.

She’s a multi-award-winning Leadership Management and DEI Consultant and Senior Executive Coach with over three decades of experience in operational and strategic business development. Her industry sector experience spans transport, retail, engineering and manufacturing, local government higher education, charities, and voluntary organisations.

Sandra was awarded an OBE for services to equality in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List in Dec 2020.
