The Vibe Tribe Social: Help A Teacher

Alright y'all... we got an idea. Which is usually either really good or mildly concerning. 😂
We're throwing a Help A Teacher community jam on Friday, August 28th, and before we go asking everyone to buy school supplies, we realized...
We have absolutely no idea what teachers actually need.
Like... do they need pencils? Glue sticks? Dry erase markers? Coffee? Therapy? A nap? Tiny folding chairs? We genuinely don't know.
We'd hate to collect 4,000 left-handed safety scissors and three canoe paddles when what teachers really needed was copy paper and Expo markers.
So...
Any local teachers willing to help us out?
Come hang with us. Let's do a little meet-and-greet. Tell us what would actually make your life easier. What do you end up buying out of your own pocket every year? What runs out first? What makes you think, "Man... if somebody donated THIS, I'd cry a little."
Shoot us a message.
While we're at it...
Let's make it a party.
If you've got a band... If you sing... If you paint... If you dance... If you juggle chainsaws... maybe don't juggle chainsaws. If you've got a business... If you're one of those magnificent weirdos that make this community awesome...
Come be part of it.
We're not charging vendor fees. Just donate something cool we can raffle off. A gift basket, artwork, gift certificate, handmade item... whatever you think someone would love.
Every raffle ticket sold helps us buy classroom supplies for local teachers.
That's it.
Music. Community. Good people. Helping the folks who spend their own money to help our kids.
Seems like a pretty good way to spend a Friday.
