About this Event

Childwall Woods has more veteran trees than any other site in Liverpool. Big and breathtaking and largely unnoticed. Join us on this guided walk to discover the oldest and most distinguished trees in the woods, hiding amongst the ancient hybrid Rhododendrons that were planted over a hundred years ago.

Bring your camera. You will be astonished by our wonderful trees, the beautiful hybrid rhododendrons, and our special Champion Tree, the only Variegated Oak in Merseyside.
