Ring in the season with April Wu’s first official Christmas show in New York City, joined by her jazz quintet, Broadway-style vocalist Xiaoqing Zhang, and—this year’s special honor—Michael Kanan, the acclaimed pianist and longtime collaborator of jazz icon Jane Monheit.
One of the most active Chinese jazz singers in NYC, April has been a rising presence since 2022. Her earlier Christmas concert The Romance of December—crowdfunded in 2016—was hailed as “the most grand jazz scene in China.”
Now she brings that holiday magic to Chelsea Table & Stage. Expect festive classics, sparkling arrangements, and a warm start to your holiday season. Come sing “Merry Christmas” and “Jingle Bells” with us!
