THE Valley Race Finale & Reveal Party
THE Valley Race is a new adventure competition, based on the TV reality show “The Amazing Race”, where teams of two (plus a video companion) raced at locations in the valley, performing specific physical and mental challenges related to local Non-Profits. With the support of business sponsors, we will award a $500 grand prize to the winning team’s organization.
THE Valley Race took place over the weekend of October 17 and 18. Teams competed in tasks created by local non-profit organizations; Saturday in Conway and Fryeburg, and Sunday in Bartlett and North Conway. The entire race was recorded by KHS Media students and Valley Vision Channel 3, and it will air in episodes.
THe Finale of THE Valley Race will take place at Tuckerman Brewing on Monday, November 16, from 5-7pm. The teams will be there and the winners will be announced. Additionally, all participating Valley Promotions Member Organizations are invited to display information about their groups for the public to pick up. Aaron Risi will be there, performing the theme song he wrote for the show!
