We are proud to present The Uprising, a powerful play read by Weekes Baptiste alongside special guests.
Reggae | Roots | Music | Identity
Step back into the summer of 1976.
The Uprising offers a deeply personal account of Black teenagers living in Northamptonshire.
Together, we’ll revisit the music, the culture, the friendships, and the stark realities of unemployment, racism, the blues, and the profound search for an identity.
