Malcolm Arnold Festival, live in Northampton!

Celebrated cellist Julian Lloyd Webber launches a day of live performances honouring the music of Sir Malcolm Arnold at Cripps Hall and St Matthew’s Church in the composer’s hometown of Northampton. 

The Malcolm Arnold Festival, a community-focused annual celebration, showcases the composer’s sparkling chamber, brass and orchestral music performed by ensembles including the Northampton Symphony Orchestra, Albion Orchestra and Towcester Studio Band amongst a roster of guest artists. Enjoy all the day’s events with an affordable Day Ticket offering low-cost entrance, with free admission for students and those under 18.

The evening’s Gala Concert featuring Northampton Symphony Orchestra playing works by Malcolm Arnold, Ruth Gipps and Shostakovich, is hosted at St Matthew’s Church and priced separately. Find full details on the website.
