Brain fog, poor sleep, low mood? A perimenopause workshop led by a doctor, psychologist and health coaches, with a plan to take home.
About this Event

For many women, the menopause transition doesn't begin with hot flushes. It begins with subtle changes to memory, mood, focus, confidence, and sleep that can be confusing, frustrating, and difficult to talk about.

The Unspoken Mind is an intimate, interactive experience designed to help you understand what's happening, why it's happening and what you can do about it.

Led by a doctor, psychologist, and health coaches (behaviour change specialists), this workshop brings together medical expertise, psychological insights and practical strategies to help you navigate this stage of life with greater clarity and confidence.

You'll Learn

  • How perimenopause and menopause can affect the brain, mood, and emotions
  • Why symptoms such as brain fog, anxiety, irritability, and poor sleep occur
  • What the latest evidence says about treatment and support options
  • Practical strategies to improve wellbeing, resilience and quality of life
  • How to develop a realistic, personalised action plan that works for you

This workshop may be for you if you've noticed:

  • Brain fog, forgetfulness, or difficulty concentrating
  • Poor or disrupted sleep
  • Anxiety, irritability, or low mood that feels new or different
  • Reduced confidence at work or in everyday life
  • Changes in energy, patience, or emotional resilience
  • Symptoms that don't seem to make sense, even if your periods are still regular

Whether you're beginning to notice changes or are already well into the menopause transition, this workshop provides a safe and supportive space to learn, reflect, and connect with other women having similar experiences.

What to Expect on the Day

Part 1: Understanding the Science

(Partners are welcome to attend this section)

In the first hour, Dr Valerie Druon, Lifestyle Medicine Physician (Women’s Health), will explain how hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect memory, focus, mood, sleep, and emotional wellbeing.

You'll learn what's normal, when symptoms may warrant medical support, and what the evidence says about treatment options, including Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT), lifestyle approaches, and other interventions.

Part 2: Reflection, Discussion and Action Planning

(A women-only space for discussion and reflection)

Guided by a psychologist and MORROW health coaches (behaviour change specialists), you'll gather in an intimate circle of 4-6 women to reflect on your experiences, hear from others navigating similar challenges, and identify practical next steps that feel right for you.
