The St. Petersburg Museum of History and Southern Roots Realty invite you to join them on Thursday, March 12. Pinellas County is known for the Rays and hosting MLB Spring Training, yet there is another side to our baseball history!
👉Author Dan Hirshberg shares the unknown history of baseball in Pinellas - its local people and teams. Some made it to the Majors, some became managers, others high school heroes. Hirshberg brings the lesser known stories of Pinellas County baseball to the forefront. Hirshberg is an award-winning author who has penned books on Phil Rizzuto, Emmitt Smith and John Elway.
👉 Doors open 6pm, the program begins 6:30pm. A cash bar is provided once the doors open at 6pm, and throughout the evening. Reservations required; the event frequently sells out.
👉 Members: $7 | Not-yet-members: $15
👉Parking is available in the Pier lot adjacent to the Museum. Additional parking is available in the Sundial Parking Garage and on Bayshore and Beach Drives. Fees apply.
