It's time to blow the dust off your old knee sleeves (and your old knees) for The Unit's very first Novice Masters Strongman Competition!Featuring events for both Over 40 and Over 50 Men and Women

Event 1
Axle Deadlift - Max reps in 60 seconds (NO SUITS)
Trump Weight - Any reps on the heavier bar beats any reps on the lighter bar
MO40 - 160kg / 200kg
MO50 - 140kg / 180kg
WO40 - 100kg / 130kg
WO50 - 80kg / 110kg

Event 2
Max Log - 3 attempts
Athlete must lift the opening weight to progress to their nominated attempts
MO40 - Opening weight 70kg
MO50 - Opening weight 50kg
WO40 - Opening weight 40kg
WO50 - Opening weight 30kg

Event 3
Max Distance Husafell Carry
Bag to be lifted from a Keg and carried max distance over a 20m course
MO40 & MO50 - 100kg
WO40 & WO50 - 70kg
.
Event 4
Farmers Hold - Max time (NO STRAPS)
Handles to be lifted from the floor and held for a maximum time, no drops allowed
MO40 - 90kg per hand
MO50 - 80kg per hand
WO40 - 60kg per hand
WO50 - 50kg per hand

Event 5
Loading Medley - 75 second time limit
Implements to be carried in order shown over 10m and loaded over a Yoke
MO40 - 64kg Keg, 75kg Slamball, 90kg Sandbag
MO50 - 50kg Keg, 60g Slamball, 80kg Sandbag
WO40 - 40kg Keg, 30kg Slamball, 60kg Sandbag
WO50 - 30kg Keg, 30kg Slamball, 50kg Sandbag
