Back for our 2nd Unit Classic! An introduction to weight class competitions ideal for those looking for some more experience before competing in a National Qualifier
3 categories for Men and Women:
Light weight Under 100/ Under 75
Open weight Over 100/ Over 75
Masters 40+
Men on the Saturday Women on the Sunday. Same day weigh-in.
Event 1 - Max Axle 3 nominated lifts. 1st lift given on registration
Women on 20kg 50mm Axle Men on 25kg 60mm Axle
Grip tops allowed. Must have down signal
Event 2 - Deadlift ladder in to reps 60s time limit
WL + M - 100kg, 115kg 130kg
WO - 110kg, 130kg, 150kg
ML + M - 180kg, 200kg, 220kg
MO - 210kg, 230kg, 250kg
Straps allowed no suits no dropping bars
Event 3 - Frame Carry x15m 60s time limit
WL + M - 140kg
WO - 160kg
ML + M - 230kg
MO - 260kg
No straps. Multiple drops allowed
Event 4 - Husafell Carry for max distance in 75s
WL + M - 70kg
WO - 90kg
ML + M - 120kg
MO - 140kg
Pick up from floor no drops allowed
Event 5 - Bag Throw 60s time limit
WL + M - 6kg, 8kg, 10kg, 12kg, 14kg over 3m
WO - 6kg, 8kg, 10kg, 12kg, 14kg over 3.5m
ML + M - 12kg, 14kg, 16kg, 18kg, 20kg over 4m
MO - 14kg, 16kg, 18kg, 20kg, 22kg over 4m
Entry payment £35 includes T-shirt and trophies for winners.
