Tahlequah Community Playhouse, Inc. presents "The Uninvited" by Tim Kelly, from the novel by Dorothy Macardle, and directed by Mike Phillips. Pam Fitzgerald and her aspiring playwright brother, Roddy, seek to escape the demands of life in London. They move into a charming house in the west of England overlooking the Irish Sea. The house, Cliff End, has long been empty and they are able to purchase it at a suspiciously low price, the reason soon becomes apparent. Slowly the Fitzgeralds begin to sense the spirit that still inhabits the house. The sound of a weeping woman in the nursery adds to the tense atmosphere, and the scent of a flowery, exotic perfume called mimosa comes and goes. With the help of Mary’s daughter, Stella, and an actress friend, Cliff End is forced to reveal its dark secrets. The action builds steadily to a truly terrifying climax, in which the ghost is discovered to be not only real but dangerous.NOVEMBER 15-16 & 22-23, 2024

All performances are held at the Tahlequah Armory Municipal Center, 100 N Water Ave, Tahlequah, OK. Reservations for Dinner/Show must be made by 5pm the Wednesday prior to the show you wish to attend. Dinner is catered by The Red Rooster Bistro & Bakery in Wagoner, OK. Tickets are $35 for Dinner/Show or $15 for Show Only tickets, and $10 for Student Show Only (available only at the door with ID). Tickets are available at Morris-Cragar (830 S Muskogee Ave), Vivid (109 N Muskogee Ave) or by calling Box Office at 539-234-9444.
