The Unholy Voodoo Rhythm Hangover New Years Fest, von und um das Berner Label Voodoo Rhythm Records (Records to Ruin any Party!) 2 Wochen nach dem Jahreswechsel brummt der Schädel immer noch, die Welt ist noch immer beschissen und die Zukunft ist ungewisser denn je. Logische Schlussfolgerung? Eine gehörige Dosis Punk, Rock’n’roll und Blues Trash! Am 17ten Januar kommen:
- GOBLIN SHARK aus Helsinki (FI) die uns ihren skurrilen Mix aus Captain Beefheart und New Orleans Garage Punk präsentieren, zum allerersten mal in der Schweiz!
- THE MONSTERS, die sich 1986 mitten in den Berner Jugendbefreiungstumulten gründeten, zerstören eure restlichen Hirnzellen mit ihrem Signature-Gewitter aus Ultra High Speed Rock’n’Roll 1-Riff Garage Punk Boogie Metal Terror. Perfekte Gelegenheit, um euren Tinnitus zu aktualisieren!
- FATIGUES sind die neue junge Rocksensation um den umtriebigen Berner Musiker Milan Slick (Birdman Jäggi, Reverend Beat-Man, Cosmic Control), der mit seiner Musik versucht, Brücken zu schlagen zwischen Bombastenrock und Post Punk! Und wie gut die alle aussehen!
- DEAD CLAMS, sind im Voodoo Rhythm Hardware Store geboren rund um Gabo (aka. Basement Gabo aka. Yung Gabo aka. WTF Gabo aka. Shut Up Gabo). Die Dead Clams sind momentan die wohl grandioseste New Wave of Oldschool Hardcore Punk Band aus Bern (zusammen mit Pig Sweat <3) und spielen auf Augenhöhe mit den früheren Bad Brains: Jung, wild, wütend und fadegrad!
- K-LOU, die famose DJane aus dem berüchtigten Exarchia-Quartier in Athen, segnet uns mit ihrem grenzenlos genialen Musikgeschmack und bringt euch die obskursten und dreistesten Riffs und Grooves von Bands, von denen noch nie jemand irgendwas gehört hat, aber in allen Ohren kleben blieben werden!
- VOODOO RHYTHM Merch wird angeboten von OLI, unserem Chaos-Gourmet, mit dem 3. Auge in seinem Arsch. Ihr stellt eine Frage und Oli weis eine gute oder schlechte Antwort, die euch ein paar Monate nicht mehr los lässt.

The Unholy Voodoo Rhythm Hangover New Years Fest, by and around the Bern label Voodoo Rhythm Records (Records to Ruin any Party!) 2 weeks after the turn of the year, your head is still pounding, the world is still shit and the future is more uncertain than ever. Logical conclusion? A good dose of punk, rock'n'roll and blues trash! On January 17th:
- GOBLIN SHARK from Helsinki (FI) will present us their bizarre mix of Captain Beefheart and New Orleans garage punk, for the very first time in Switzerland!
- THE MONSTERS, who formed in 1986 in the midst of the youth liberation riots in Bern, will destroy your remaining brain cells with their signature storm of ultra high speed rock'n'roll 1-riff garage punk boogie metal terror. Perfect opportunity to update your tinnitus!
- FATIGUES are the new young rock sensation around the busy Bernese musician Milan Slick (Birdman Jäggi, Reverend Beat-Man, Cosmic Control), who tries to build bridges between bombastic rock and post punk with his music! And how good they all look!
- DEAD CLAMS, were born in the Voodoo Rhythm Hardware Store around Gabo (aka. Basement Gabo aka. Yung Gabo aka. WTF Gabo aka. Shut Up Gabo). The Dead Clams are currently probably the most amazing new wave of old school hardcore punk band from Bern (together with Pig Sweat <3) and play on a par with the earlier Bad Brains: young, wild, angry and right in your face!
- K-LOU, the famous DJane from the infamous Exarchia district in Athens, blesses us with her limitlessly brilliant taste in music and brings you the most obscure and brazen riffs and grooves from bands that no one has ever heard of, but that will stick in everyone's ears!
