Follow the thread with us into a space of unfolding beauty and imagination. The Unbroken Thread invites you into a musical labyrinth where Greek myth, identity and culture shimmer through every note, a concert that moves between ancient stories and contemporary voices with colour, depth and wonder.
This dynamic program weaves together music inspired by Greek heritage, shaped by myth, history, philosophy and memory, creating a tapestry that feels both timeless and vividly alive.
Featuring works by Telemann, Debussy, Ros Bandt, Klearhos Murphy, and acclaimed Australian composer Peggy Polias, the journey culminates in the world premiere of her new work Eleni: The Kalymnian Water Bearer — a luminous tribute to the Kalymnian Water Bearer statue and the women whose stories echo through generations.
A Glenti season celebration, this concert honours the enduring influence of Greek culture on storytelling, creativity and our shared imaginations.
