The Unbothered Meetup: A Free Park Gathering for Black Coparenting Moms
About this Event
The Unbothered Meetup
You’ve been coparenting in survival mode. The custody exchanges, the tense texts, the smiling at school events like everything is fine. And most days, nobody asks how you’re actually doing.
This gathering is where somebody asks.
Join Dr. Chandra Smallwood, PharmD and coparenting coach, for a free outdoor meetup created specifically for Black coparenting moms and moms of color. This is not a seminar. There’s no presentation, no sales pitch, and no pressure to share anything you don’t want to.
What it actually is: a Saturday morning outside with women who understand exactly what it takes to raise babies with a man you’re no longer with. You’ll be welcomed, you’ll be fed a little something, and you’ll leave lighter than you came.
What to expect
A warm welcome and introductions, one short conversation on why your body stays stuck in fight or flight around your coparent (and how to start coming out of it), then open time to connect, talk, and breathe.
