This week at Minnehaha Park we are hosting The Umamies, a pop group. Fun facts about the band -- 1. Two of us are related, but you have to guess who. 2. Between the three of us, we also play: Arabic drums, french horn, and accordion. 3. We were a cover band until we were forced to play original music for a gig. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
