The Ubuntu Monthly Community Meeting
Rooted in the Ubuntu philosophy — “I Am Because We Are” — the meeting creates a space for community engagement, leadership development, cultural connection, and collective support. Attendees learn about upcoming programs, youth initiatives, educational opportunities, internships, summer experiences, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships designed to empower young people and strengthen families.
The meeting also serves as a platform for collaboration and planning around important community celebrations and initiatives, including the Ubuntu Leadership Summit, the Annual I Am Africa Gala, Genesis Summer Experience Camp, Summer Youth Internship Programs, and Jubilation Day / End of Year Celebration.
Each meeting includes networking opportunities, community updates, translator support, and lunch, ensuring that all families and community members feel welcomed, informed, and connected.
The Ubuntu Monthly Community Meeting is open to everyone interested in supporting youth success, family engagement, leadership, education, and community impact.
