[PT] Os Twist Connection surgiram em 2016 e contam já com cinco álbuns de longa-duração e dois 45”.
São uma banda de rock'n'roll que mergulha nas raízes da segunda metade do século **, alimentando-se do rockabilly nascente dos anos 50, das várias correntes estéticas dos anos 60 e da urgência punk do final dos anos 70 para chegarem aos anos 20 do séc XXI com os olhos postos no futuro.
Acreditam no poder transformador do rock’n’roll e vivem-no, construindo assim um caminho estético próprio. Têm, ao longo destes anos, pisado inúmeros palcos, desde clubes de rock de matriz underground até aos festivais de maior dimensão, alimentando-se da dinâmica e da interação com o público. Para além de terem percorrido todo o território nacional, marcaram já presença em França, Inglaterra e, principalmente, em Espanha onde, em 2019, foram galardoados com o Prémio Pop Eye para “melhor banda portuguesa”.

They are a rock'n'roll band that delves into the roots of the second half of the 20th century, drawing from the nascent rockabilly of the 50s, the various aesthetic currents of the 60s, and the punk urgency of the late 70s to arrive in the 2020s with their eyes set on the future.
They believe in the transformative power of rock’n’roll and live it, thus building their own aesthetic path. Over the years, they have performed on countless stages, from underground rock clubs to the largest festivals, feeding off the dynamics and interaction with the audience. In addition to touring throughout the country, they have already performed in France, England and, especially, in Spain where, in 2019, they were awarded the Pop Eye Award for “best Portuguese band”.
