The Twilights are a newly formed musical group that calls La Crosse, Wisconsin their home. Their style, a kind of a tough one to pinpoint because of each member’s diverse background, is a melting pot flavored with easy jazz, American Songbook, groovy funk, Latin and so much more. One could say that it’s almost like a cocktail hour experience, music that relaxes you but yet has a welcoming cerebral quality to it.So, who are the members of the Twilights? Karen Lee, with New York City experience, is the primary vocalist and adds percussion. Joseph Martin Shelley III, originally from Chicago, Illinois, brings his R&B skills on bass guitar and vocals. Dave Berget is old school, with a blues history, on jazz guitar and vocals. Dylan Stukins is the young ‘un in the group but you could never tell by the way he blows his tenor sax…. he definitely is the X-factor! On drums and vocals is Ken Isler. Kenny, a.k.a. K-Dogg, is a seasoned La Crosse drummer and keeps the band in a tight rhythm whether they like it or not. And finally…. Joe Hauser plays keys, sings and is the musical director of the Twilights.
So there you have it, The Twilights – a musical group that just wants to share their joy of music with you and hopefully allow you to escape your day-to-day thang. Kind of like…. ‘Cocktail Hour’.
