The Troubs with Kai Rush and A French Project at Up The Creek Records
About this Event
A French Project
We are A French Project, from Fremont, California. We make music for people to feel good, dance, and smile to. We like good music, good food, and cats. Don’t forget to love one another, Fuck ICE.
Kai Rush
Kai Rush is a “mixing pop” singer, songwriter, producer, and performer from Vallejo, California. “Mixing pop” is the intersection of any genre (soul, funk, hip-hop, folk, rock, alternative) through a concise pop hook. Kai has been releasing music since 2020 and is currently studying Music Business and Performance at Berklee College of Music, while building his professional artistic career in both Boston and California. Kai aims to put an end to radicalism by inspiring vulnerability through his lyrics and encouraging listeners to respect those around you.
The Troubs
The Troubs are a San Francisco based outfit blending contemporary new wave, post-punk, and emo-tinged indie rock. Driven by a commitment to originality, they approach songwriting with a strong creative ethos, prioritizing instinct and experimentation over convention. Known for rarely playing the same set twice, their live shows lean into a hypnotic energy that draws listeners into their immersive sound. With their sophomore album set for release in 2026, The Troubs continue to evolve without compromise.
