The Trailers Brewery Run: Part Trois
Somehow, this is becoming a thing.
Part One had 4 people, which technically counts as a group if everyone stands close enough together.
Part Deux had 12 runners, live music at the brewery, a genuinely good afternoon, and one mystery lady who skipped the running part entirely and joined us at the pub afterwards - honestly, hard to fault the strategy.
So now we’re backing it up for Part Trois.
Same time. Same place. Bigger crew.
We’ll be heading out from Stoney Creek Brewery, Ipswich at 4pm for an easy social run somewhere in the 5–10km-ish range, before returning to the brewery for drinks, food, and the sort of athletic recovery that mostly involves sitting down.
This is not a fast run. It is not a serious run. It is not a “check my splits” run.
It’s a relaxed Saturday afternoon shuffle with good people, vague route confidence, and a brewery waiting at the end - which is really the whole point.
When: Saturday 18th July
Time: 4:00pm kick-off
Where: Start and finish at Stoney Creek Brewery, Ipswich
Distance: 5–10km-ish
Pace: Conversational. Possibly questionable.
After: Brewery. Obviously.
Everyone is welcome - runners, joggers, plodders, partners, friends, dogs, first-timers, comeback runners, and anyone who enjoys the idea of earning a drink with the absolute minimum required level of athletic seriousness.
We’ve gone from 4 people to 12. By that completely reliable statistical trend, Part Trois should land somewhere between “solid turnout” and “minor logistical concern.”
So yes, we are now encouraging attendance with slightly more confidence than last time.
Not in an aggressive way. Just in a polite, community-minded, mildly threatening way.
Bring warm clothes for afterwards, because July will almost certainly try to ruin the sitting-around-drinking part if you come unprepared.
