The Titfield Thunderbolt was filmed primarily near Bath, Somerset, UK, using the disused Camerton branch line (part of the Bristol & North Somerset Railway) for train scenes, with Monkton Combe Halt station becoming the fictional Titfield Station, while the village scenes were shot in Freshford. Key locations included the Midford Viaduct, Dunkerton Colliery, and the village of Carlingcott for specific moments.
