About this Event

⚔️ FREE LARP Adventure: Grace in the Midst of the Storm

A Christ-Centered Live Action Roleplaying Event for Teens

Join us for a FREE live-action roleplaying (LARP) event on February 14, where teens step into an immersive medieval-fantasy world inspired by the Russian Time of Troubles—now reaching a pivotal turning point.

❤️ Valentine’s Day Extras

To make our February 14 event extra special, we’ll be adding a few lighthearted Valentine’s Day touches to the adventure. Students will enjoy Valentine’s-themed treats, receive a fun party-style Valentine card and small memento, and take part in a few special games some woven into the storyline.

We’ll also set aside a short, optional creative moment for students to make a simple Valentine’s Day card for their moms or another special adult in their lives—a small way to practice gratitude and honor while staying true to the themes of loyalty, humility, and grace.

This event places players in the middle of the action, where alliances are tested, pride threatens unity, and humility becomes the difference between collapse and hope. The story is moving forward, and the choices made during this event will shape what comes next.

This experience is designed for teens ages 11–17 who enjoy adventure, storytelling, foam-sword battles, and making meaningful decisions that affect an ongoing story.

What to Expect on February 14
⚔️ Immersive Storyline: A Kingdom at the Crossroads

The realm of Ruzash stands on fragile ground. Rival factions gather, old wounds resurface, and unseen forces work to exploit pride and division. Peace is possible—but far from guaranteed.

Players will take part in missions where:

  • Unity must be protected
  • Pride must be confronted
  • Loyalty costs something
  • Humility—not force—shifts the future of the kingdom

This is a mid-story event, full of tension, action, and meaningful choices.

⚔️ Hands-On LARP Action
  • Team battles
  • Timed missions
  • Narrative scenes
  • Stealth challenges
  • Rescue or recovery objectives
  • Roleplay decisions that directly impact the campaign

All activities use safe foam weapons and structured rules.

📖 Bible & Reflection: Grace in Action

This event centers on James 4:6
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

We’ll pause briefly during the event for a short, age-appropriate devotional connecting Scripture to the choices players are making in real time—highlighting how humility and faithfulness build lasting strength.

🎭 Drama & Creative Play

Students may also experience:

  • Character interactions and story scenes
  • Strategic team-building
  • Optional acting or improvisation games (time permitting)
  • Creative world-building elements tied to the storyline

🪙 Event Store & Coin System

Players earn coins during missions, which can be spent at our in-event store—adding fun incentives, photo opportunities, and a medieval-inspired economy.

We will also be meeting on February 5 (sit-down roleplaying session) and February 19.
