About this Event

The taste of rebellion offers an intimate conscious chocolate experience by Chocolate Has A Name
Most chocolate tastings ask what flavours you can taste.

We ask what stories you can taste.
Can you taste justice?
Can you taste injustice?
Can you taste resilience?
Can you taste repair?

Join Chocolate Has A Name for an intimate evening that transforms chocolate from something you simply consume into something you truly experience.

Set within a carefully curated, sacred space, The Taste of Rebellion invites you to slow down, be fully present and gather in community around one of the world's most loved foods. This is a space of intention, wellbeing and meaningful connection, where every element has been thoughtfully designed to awaken your senses and deepen your relationship with chocolate.

Unlike traditional tastings that focus only on flavour notes, this conscious chocolate experience pairs exceptional 100% single-origin artisan chocolate and kokoo from Ghana with the human stories behind every bite.

Through guided tasting, storytelling and shared reflection, you'll journey from cultivation to consumption, discovering the places, species and faces that make chocolate possible.

Together, we'll explore how flavour can reveal far more than sweetness. We'll discover the undertones of history, the complexity of injustice, the richness of resilience and the possibility of repair.
