Andy Mikovage, musical director of the CVU Jazz Ensemble, and avid swing dancer, has brought together a 7-piece jazz band to play for your swing dancing pleasure.
Intro to Swing Dance lesson: 7:30-8:00pm (Bring your friends!)
Social Dance: 8:00-10:30pm
Admission is $20 (sliding scale) includes the dance lesson. Discount for volunteers - let us know if you want to help out [email protected]
No Partner Needed. We love to dance with each other!
Please bring a change of clean, non-marking shoes for dancing on our beautiful wooden floor (socks are okay too).
We prefer you park on North Street or other side streets and leave Crowley St available for residents; don't block driveways. The is no parking allowed behind the Hall on dance nights - reserved for band and staff.
