This four-week series is designed for absolute beginners who have always wanted to try dancing to jazz without a partner! We'll cover the fundamental solo jazz moves, from basic steps to rhythm variations, all while focusing on musicality, expression, and improvisation. Whether you're new to solo jazz, new to dancing in general, or just looking to improve your solo dancing, this class will provide you with the tools to confidently shine on the dance floor. No prior dance experience is required—don’t be shy—this is the perfect place to start!Details

Cost: $15/$10 for students, $50/$40 for the 4-week series

Bring clean shoes that won't track in grit or leave black heel marks.
Parking is limited, so plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Star Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
