2024 AVCU's Annual Charity Golf Event

Vermont National Country Club in South Burlington is home to a beautiful 18-hole Jack Nicklaus/Jack Nicklaus II Signature Design championship course, the first of its kind in New England. Originally founded in 1998, the Club is situated on over 400 acres of beautiful Vermont countryside, encompassing some of the region’s most spectacular views of both the Green and Adirondack Mountains.

Charity Player Teams:

Foursome ($1,500) - includes all golf fees and tournament entry for four (4) players, recognition on our website and in , plus a sponsorship sign bearing your company's logo.

Threesome ($1,125) - includes all golf fees and tournament entry for four (3) players, recognition on our website and in , plus a sponsorship sign bearing your company's logo.

Pair of Golfers ($750) - includes all golf fees and tournament entry for four (2) players, recognition on our website and in , plus a sponsorship sign bearing your company's logo.

Single Golfer ($375) - includes all golf fees and tournament entry for four (1) players, recognition on our website and in .

Because this is a charity fundraising tournament, Eventbrite displays all registration options as "free". To maximize the benefit to our charity, online payment is not available. AVCU will invoice your company or credit union directly at the email address provided during online registration.

Entry fees include greens fees, a shared cart, a sleeve of golf balls plus three mulligans (per golfer), all contest entries, range balls, breakfast sandwich, a boxed lunch, Hors d'oeuvres, and cash bar at Burlington Beer after the tournament.

PLEASE NOTE: Eventbrite registrations are final and cannot be canceled once submitted. Substitutions for previously registered golfers will be accepted until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25th, to WiLMobus(at)VermontCreditUnions.coop.

Because AVCU must provide a guaranteed head count to the course in advance, the final registration deadline is Wednesday, September 25th, at 5:00 PM.

Vermont CU Golf Challenge Highlights

• Format: 4 player scramble. All players tee off, the best shot is selected, and the process is repeated until a ball is holed. Every group must use at least three tee shots from each player.
• Contests & Awards: Individual contest winners each receive a $50 Visa gift card. (Please note that the same golfer is not eligible to win multiple contests.)

• Hospitality: Breakfast Sandwiches and a Box Lunch. A cash beverage cart will tour the course throughout the round, and Hors d'oeuvre with a cash bar at Burlington Beer after the golf event.

Schedule:

8:00... On-site check-in, Breakfast Sandwiches. Warm-up (range balls are included with all tournament entry fees.

8:45 … Welcome announcements. Golfers then proceed to their designated holes for a 9:00 shotgun start.

3:00 … Event Continues at Burlington Beer on Flynn Ave with Drinks and Hors d'oeuvre , Awards, and Thank Yous.

5:00 … Event concludes.
