Join us for a special Kings of Kubb Meet & Greet with directors BJ Hollars and Steve Dayton in the Three Crowns Lounge at The Swedish Club.
is a documentary that follows elite competitors in the Scandinavian lawn game of kubb—a sport of strategy, skill, and nerve—as they compete for glory at the U.S. National Championship in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the Kubb Capital of North America. The film weaves together a story of rivalry, friendship, ambition, and the pursuit of greatness, asking the age-old question: what does it take to become king?
Meet the filmmakers behind the story, hear behind-the-scenes insights, and learn more about the making of the film and the real-life competition that inspired it. Both directors will be in attendance for this special event.
