Honeytree is an acoustic duo from Colorado’s Front Range, built on nearly twenty years of musical partnership between Eric Wiggs and Monica Marie LaBonte. Their sound blends seasoned musicianship, warm chemistry, and thoughtful songwriting.
Eric—who holds a master’s degree in jazz guitar—is a sought-after multi-instrumentalist on guitar, dobro, and mandolin. He has toured and performed with Cassie Taylor, the progressive bluegrass band Masontown, and most recently Jake Leg, one of Colorado’s best and brightest bluegrass groups. His dynamic playing brings depth, precision and heart to Honeytree’s sound.
Monica LaBonte contributes expressive vocals, guitar, banjo, and the duo’s original songwriting. A lifelong singer, she has been recognized as a finalist in both the 2018 Folks Fest Songwriter Showcase and the 2021 Recording King Songwriter Competition. www.monicamariemusic.com
