The Sunday Letter Project

The idea to offer a letter writing experience developed during a passing conversation while Morgan, a BBS customer from Chatham, browsed in the shop last fall. She and I discovered we were both hungry to connect with others off-screen. Tired of texts, emails, and DMs, we were also done with “likes” and emojis and were feeling nostalgic for “real” mail. We collaborated, and the upcoming afternoon is our way of merging the two.

The plan is simple.

You bring your own stationery, lined paper, or cards - and the address of someone you would like to write. We will provide the space, treats, and tea.

• No stationery? No problem. We will be well stocked with beautiful and fun new offerings at the store.
• No one to write to? Again, no problem. We will be introducing The Sunday Letter Project, a letter writing initiative of the Wildflower Illustration Co, based in Cheltenham, England.
