THE SUN: A day of Tarot, Creativity & Vitality

This one-day workshop is a radiant celebration of The Sun: our inner light, vitality and joyful power. Together, in a small, supportive circle, we will explore the symbolism of the Sun card in the tarot, connecting to our inner child, our creative spark, and our capacity for joy, connection and vitality.

Through embodied movement, creative and reflective practices (and of course, some tarot!) we’ll bring the Sun’s warmth and clarity into our lives.

We’ll gather around a shared fire, cooking together, and basking in community. You're welcome to either join for the day (lunch included) or stay on the land overnight, cook a shared dinner on the fire and indulge in an optional sauna session.

You will arrive at 10am on Saturday, and we'll share a day of creative, introspective and group exercises, with breaks for refreshments and lunch throughout. We'll be exploring The Sun card, discussing archetypes and personal characteristics, and using some creative and art practices alongside tarot based activities. Hopefully the bulk of the day will take place outdoors, and hopefully the real sun will be blessing us (!) so please do bring a hat, a water bottle etc, and comfy clothes that you can move freely in.

There's also an option to stay overnight, either in your own tent/veichle, or one of our glamping tents or our magical hideaway. Dinner, an optional sauna and breakfast is included in this ticket option, and you're welcome to relax here until 11am on Sunday.

No experience is needed, in tarot or anything else!

We have a friendly dog and 2 lovely cats on site, and a river which you're welcome to swim in.

Holly of Wolf Eye Creations & The Lavender Project: a creative tarot reader who has been working with tarot for 6 years, and wants to share the insights and inspiration that tarot has brought her with as many other people as she can! Holly lives at The Lavender Project, where she co-hosts creative & art based workshops, and is also the creator of Wolf Eye Creations, where she offers tarot readings, workshops and creates (often tarot inspired) poetry and art.

"The Oracle deck workshop was really fun. There was a really good vibe and everyone was happy working on the task, but in their own way. I liked that the instructions on what to do where given in a way that we didn’t feel like we were being told that we had to do anything or that there was any pressure. There was lots of freedom, and we could’ve chosen to do it any way we wanted. There was a big choice of all the different things and materials; all the stuff we could’ve possibly needed or wanted to use, and lots of guidance and help if we weren’t sure about anything. I ended up being very pleased with what I did. I don’t consider myself very good at drawing, or at anything to do with art in any way, but what I ended up with was really good!"
