About this Event

Creating unique sculptures of deities, guides, Tarot figures, archetypes or other significant figures.

A weekend of devotional sculpting. As one trained sculptor, and one creative tarot reader with a love for all things mystical, we're coming together to help you create a beautiful sculpture of a figure that's important to you.Whether you're looking to make a God, Goddess, Tarot figure, or any other guide or deity, we're here to facilitate your creativity and guide you through a fun and introspective weekend of art and discussion. You will also have space to relax, replenish and connect, in a beautiful natural setting

This workshop is designed with beautiful outcomes in mind, regardless of whether the last time you touched clay was in primary school, or you’re so highly qualified that you find it hard to let loose!

We host no more than 12 people at a time to ensure everyone receives plenty of support and guidance.

All of our art workshops are designed using low impact materials.

No experience needed…in art or anything else.

Who is this workshop for?

Open to all. Whether you're very comfortable creating, or get yourself stuck thinking you're "no good", we'll guide you in creating something beautiful that is uniquely you.

Additional Information

You will arrive at 4pm on Friday afternoon, have a tour of the land and a chance to settle in, followed by some introductions, a group dinner and some conversation and fun around the fire.

Saturday will be a day of devotional sculpting, with breaks for tea and lunch throughout. We'll assist you in bringing your vision to life!

On Sunday, we will finish off our creations and wrap up our weekend together with some gentle practices and opportunities for sharing, ending around 3pm.

The weekend will be full of art and creativity, gentleness and replenishment, fun and connection, time in nature, nourishment and inspiration.

No experience is needed, in art or anything else!

A beautiful handmade sculpture of a figure of your choice, made from low impact materials.

Who are we?

Clare & Holly: a pair of artists who have both climbed out of a pit of self-destructive behaviours and thought patterns, and stepped away from traditional roles and societal expectations. We love to sculpt, paint, draw, write, sing, read tarot, dance, sketch, explore, and host workshops to guide others towards their own unique expression.

For the last three years, we've been building community together at The Lavender Project, aiming to live as sustainably as possible and build and maintain healthy, supportive relationships. We’ve been helping people around us to do the same, using our own insights, practices and tried and tested techniques. We’ve been given wonderful feedback on how impactful this work is, so now we've put it all together into a series of workshops.

We're excited to share our resources, strategies and knowledge with a wider community- hopefully including you!

Testimonials

“I had a list as long as my arm of things I needed to achieve, so I was clear with what needed to be done, but at every point I found myself sabotaging and undermining. Hollys’ sessions gave me rock solid techniques and Clare’s produced physical objects to support my process and I’ve used them every day since”

"The Oracle deck workshop was really fun. There was a really good vibe and everyone was happy working on the task, but in their own way. I liked that the instructions on what to do where given in a way that we didn’t feel like we were being told that we had to do anything or that there was any pressure. There was lots of freedom, and we could’ve chosen to do it any way we wanted. There was a big choice of all the different things and materials; all the stuff we could’ve possibly needed or wanted to use, and lots of guidance and help if we weren’t sure about anything. I ended up being very pleased with what I did. I don’t consider myself very good at drawing, or at anything to do with art in any way, but what I ended up with was really good!"

“Working creatively with Clare was always very inspiring. With every project I learned something new whether that be skills, about the materials we were working with or about myself. I always felt very trusted and free with implementing my own ideas while also receiving support whenever needed. I left each time with new motivation to come up with my own projects.”
