Join us on Sunday, 23rd June 2024, for "The Subtle Art of Caring: Workshop with River Wolton," a half-day retreat in Nottingham focused on self-care and compassion during tough times. From 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, explore practices like yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and more under the guidance of esteemed teacher River Wolton. Learn to navigate life's challenges with mettā (friendliness), joy, compassion, and equanimity. This event is a chance to discover how to support ourselves and others, reducing burnout and fostering a caring community.
River Wolton brings a wealth of knowledge from her experiences at Gaia House and various meditation centers across the UK and Europe. She's also the author of "The Subtle Art of Caring: A Guide to Sustaining Compassion," released in 2023.
The workshop is £55 per person, with reduced rates available for underrepresented groups and those facing financial constraints. We hope you can join us in the opportunity to connect and join in space where we all pause and have a sense of care.
