“The Strength of Song and Dance” will feature evocative music and rhythmic movements traditional to the Lenape and Nanticoke tribes, and modern to all indigenous people. The Ellis-Gould family of the Nanticoke LenniLenape tribe, and Lenapehoking Reestablishment Project, will be exhibiting some of these dancestyles, educating the public on a variety of art forms, and speaking on how some untold histories of Indigenous people have directly impacted how Lenape people live today.
