The Strenght Within: When Life Gets Hard
About this Event
Free Community Event
Life is full of unexpected changes, difficult moments, and challenges we can't always control. While we can't prevent every hardship, we can develop skills that help us respond, adapt, and move forward.
Join PG Cares for the second presentation in our The Strength Within series, led by Natalie Wennergren, AMFT, a local therapist, as we explore resilience and the practical skills that help us navigate life's ups and downs. We'll discuss how self-awareness, emotional regulation, and flexibility can help us approach challenges with greater confidence and intention.
What you'll learn:
- How to recognize and understand your emotional responses to stress
- Strategies for managing emotions during difficult situations
- How flexibility can help when plans or circumstances change
- Ways to approach challenges without becoming overwhelmed by them
- Practical skills to strengthen resilience in everyday life
Part 2 of a Two-Part Series
This presentation builds on our December Table Talk, Stay Connected, Stay You: Building Stronger Relationships Without Losing Yourself. In December, we explored how self-awareness and emotional understanding help us build meaningful relationships while maintaining our individuality.
In January, we'll take those same skills a step further and explore how they help us navigate uncertainty, adapt to difficulties, and respond to life's challenges with greater resilience.
You are welcome to attend this presentation on its own or join us for both parts of the series.
