Flagler College will proudly present a Storytellers' Author in Residence Reading featuring Rita Bullwinkel. The free event takes place at 7 p.m. on March 5th, 2026, at Markland House. Bullwinkel is the author of the acclaimed debut novel Headshot, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and several major literary awards, and longlisted for the 2024 Booker Prize. Her writing has appeared in publications including The White Review, BOMB, and Guernica. She is also the author of the short story collection Belly Up, which won a 2022 Whiting Award, and currently serves as Editor of McSweeney’s Quarterly. We are proud to have her as our Spring 2026 Storyteller Author in Residence at Flagler College.
