Welcome to The Storycraft Sessions by The Book Lover Club. A guided book and craft club that meet monthly.
Step into the new year with a story that sweeps you into a world of secrets, magic and self discovery. The Wicked Lies of Harben Faire follows a heroine who is pulled into an unfamiliar realm and forced to decide who she wants to become within it. It is filled with tension, spice and the delicious uncertainty of crossing a threshold into the unknown.
Our creative activity for January brings that same energy into real life. You will design your own fantasy style map, not of kingdoms or creatures, but of the paths you hope to take in the year ahead. Think enchanted forests of courage, healing lakes, mountains of achievement or cosy coves of rest. Just as the protagonist of Harben Faire must navigate a new landscape and redefine her place within it, you will map out your own journeys, challenges and intentions for the months to come.
This session will include:
a copy of the month's book delivered to your door
a guided group discussion of the book
all materials for your map making activity
gentle prompts to help you translate personal goals into imaginative world building
a relaxed, welcoming space to get creative with fellow romantasy readers
No artistic experience needed. Just bring your curiosity, your love of books and your readiness to step into a new world of your own making.
