The Story of Emily - with The Loop Social, women's over 50s group

Join us for an immersive journey into the life of Emily Hobhouse. Emily was a courageous Cornish humanitarian who exposed the suffering of women and children in Boer War concentration camps.
We'll explore her beautifully restored Victorian childhood home, and experience the immersive, striking War Rooms, equipped with high-tech headsets, guests experience installations, animations, films, and virtual reality - a multi-sensory journey that vividly depicts her story, and life as it was at the time for these women and children.
Afterwards, we can enjoy the beautiful gardens and lunch together in the restaurant. A day of inspiration, reflection, and friendship.

The Loop Social is a women's over 50s friendship group offering connection and friendship with likeminded women through exciting meet-ups and events - from walks and talks, to coffee, workshops, trips, drinks, and so much more.
