Following on from last year’s presentation on the beginnings of the club
we will continue the story of how the club expanded through the 1920’s
& 1930’s and became established at the heart of the community. Then
on to World War 2 where it played an important role in the war effort
while still offering a haven for locals and visitors alike.
Join us for this short presentation about the history of our club to be
followed by a chance to look at some photographs, plans documents
etc.
We encourage you to bring along and share any of your own pictures
and stories, whether of relatives or more recent times, and help us
build memories of Churchdown Club throughout it’s more than 100
year lifetime.
