Spend your Saturday evening immersed in the world of storytelling with Dave Morris at the wonderful Goldfinch Arts Centre by the sea!
In this workshop, instructor Dave Morris will share with you decades worth of storytelling tips and tricks, and teach you how to transform personal experiences into stories worth telling, using techniques he’s learned from years of improvised theatre, spoken word poetry, and storytelling.
The focus of this workshop is on honest personal storytelling. You'll leave with new tools that will help you bring your personal stories to the next level. This workshop will make you a better storyteller.
Dave Morris' one-man improv storytelling shows have won multiple awards and he's been featured at festivals around the world including London, Amsterdam, Montreal, and more. His newest work, 52 Stories, was featured at the 2022 UNO Festival, had a completely sold out run at the 2024 Victoria Fringe Festival, 2025 Winnipeg Fringe, and 2025 Edmonton Fringe. It received two 5-star reviews, and won two Pick of the Fringe Awards.
Come and learn how to tell better stories, and then share those stories with your fellow attendees:
