My name is Latoya Graham, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of My Covered Scars Resource Group, a recovery developing resource group for family development mental health runaways dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and abuse abandoned, veteran, return citizens substance recovery. We are excited to announce our upcoming event, the Survivors Ball, which we are planning to host on October 10, 2026.

The Survivors Ball aims to create a safe and empowering space for survivors of domestic violence and abuse of all ages. It will be an evening filled with celebration, healing, and solidarity. The event will feature various activities, performances, and opportunities for survivors to connect with one another and access resources for their continued healing journey.

One of the key objectives of the Survivors Ball is to raise funds to support survivors in their pursuit of higher education, artistic enrichment, and entrepreneurial endeavors. All proceeds collected from the event will be directly allocated to six survivors between the ages of 16 and up,developing life back to regular living from finacially hardship allowing them to publish their testimonies, pursue college education, engage in artistic activities, or start their own businesses.
